JOB DESCRIPTION :
- This position requires interacting with internal / external customer.
- Providing on-time support to logistic, warehouse system, back-end office system, operating light industrial device with in-house develop software.
JOB SUMMARY :
- As a member of ICT support team to warehouse & logistic operation, this position is responsible to ensure optimum operation of software function, smooth application process flow, system backup, communications with hardware/software vendor support and office automation systems for the company’s group.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Owner of system support documentation ( create / update system / application and production release of application rollout)
- Up-keeping of servers ( ESX, Hyper-V, VMs and Wintel/Linux box )
- Support for developer (MSSQL/Oracle/MySQL, IIS, sFTP, SSIS/ ETL script), ensure smooth running of in-house / acquired apps and carry out update of patches / fixes.
- Performs on-going new project / business system needs analysis and liaise with vendor.
- Supports HQ/DC infrastructure and virtual computing/storage infrastructure
- Liaison for telco infrastructure ( ISP / PABX / call center system )
- 2nd level in-house support ( provide fixes / temporary work around )
- Networking system / software i.e.: Info-Security tuning ( firewall, IPS, antivirus and etc)
- End-user computing support (ISP, emails, internet browsers, imaging and in-house apps)
- Database replication, optimization and troubleshooting
- Base in HQ office, travel to remote computer center / regional office for new project deployment / on-demand support.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS :
(i) Education :
- Minimum a degree graduate from IT / Computer Science / Management Information Systems.
- Priority given to candidate with Fortinet / VMware / Microsoft / Oracle qualification.
(ii) Pre-requisite:
- Extensive hands on experience in 2nd /3rd level technical support, end-user / remote DC working exposure with Info-Security, Networking, Telco, Web, Mobile apps , SSIS , EDI and SP/SQL scripting.
- Years of working knowledge in ICT for warehouse / logistic industry is an added advantage.
