(22nd Sep) – A recent tour around the Aemulus Base in the Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone, with the CEO of Aemulus Holding Bhd., Mr. Ng Sang Beng, proves rewarding and insightful. Aemulus has a strong R&D track record and is one of JobRewards reputable clients.
Located next to the Penang International Airport (PIA) runway, the newly operational corporate office and design centre integrated elements of eco-friendly designs in their building complex, blending natural lighting and ventilation with state-of-the-art facilities for product development and software testing.
Ng shared during the tour that the eco-friendly concept made Aemulus Base an outstanding and partial sustainable green building. Ng also shared Aemulus’ success story since establishment in 2004, as well as the recent crisis handling during the Covid-19 pandemic.
At the start of the Movement Control Order (MCO) in March, Aemulus was dealing with multiple issues ranging from employee morale to customer confidence. Nevertheless, by prioritising the issues at hand and tackling them one at a time, Aemulus made a recent comeback.
Their share, AEMULUS (0181) was traded at a price of 0.62 cent per share as at 22 September compared to 0.08 cent during March.
“This crisis really taught me to think out of the box and pilot Aemulus through the turbulence,” shared Ng.
JobRewards and Aemulus also discussed future projects and collaboration as well as potentially moving JobRewards operations to the co-working space at Aemulus Base. JobRewards also shared the upcoming collaboration with USM to Ng.
