– Just as our nation is moving into the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) phase, JobRewards has been invited by Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TARUC) Penang to give a career talk on the challenges interns would be facing during the RMCO.
JobRewards is honored by the invitation and is very eager to share first hand experiences with the students. Especially on practical tips and advice to adapt to the new normal in the current job market.
“We really like working with universities and colleges because we noticed there is a gap in hiring fresh grads. Most companies have reservations about hiring new blood during this season of pandemic,” explained John Ling, CMO of JobRewards.
This one hour online career talk will be conducted via Google Meet, and is targeting TARUC students who will be commencing their placement and internship soon. Majority of the students will be from the field of engineering, computer science, public relation and broadcasting.
The career talk will cover:
- Working From Home (WFH)
- Companies Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) during RMCO
- Challenges for job searching and interview during RMCO
- New trend for hiring
The importance of soft skills as well as the tips & tricks for interview will also be covered in this career talk.
